Okta opp + Music industry internships that pay
The “First Job After College” Section
Yext is in the business of organizing facts about businesses. It just so happens that they’re organizing their Technical Partner Management Team and hiring recent grads as Associate TPMs.
This role is ideal for someone who can effortlessly communicate technical details and business impacts with both engineering teams and non-technical client teams. You’ll also need to be familiar with SQL queries and Python scripts.
Since Yext is seeking recent college grads, you’ll need to have left college in your rearview sometime between June 2019 – December 2020, earning a BA/BS in engineering or a related technical field.
Tech Internship of the Week
Okta connects and protects the digital identities of employees from 9,400+ of the world’s largest companies. Because that’s a big deal, they’re hiring several Site Reliability Engineer Interns in San Francisco, San Jose, and Bellevue, WA.
Hopeful interns must be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field. To catch Okta’s eye, you must be able to program in at least one language as well as administer a Linux OS, navigate a cloud web service, and be comfortable designing and deploying software in a Scrum/Agile environment.
Non-Tech Internships of the Week
Copyright Intern, Songtrust (Paid & Remote)
Because Drake can’t perform and protect his art at the same time, Songtrust uses technology to manage global royalty collection and administration for songwriters, musicians, publishers, and labels.
They’re searching for a Copyright Intern to help onboard, register, and audit their catalogs, as well as assist with international affiliations and work registrations and research information about songwriters and songs. This is a paid and fully virtual opportunity.
Corporate Development Intern, Downtown Music (Paid & Remote)
Would you prefer to learn about the dealmaking side of the music biz? Apply to the Corporate Development Internship at Downtown Music through Uncubed’s Finalist program. In this internship, you’ll gather and analyze financial data and deal analytics using software like Tableau and Power BI. This is also a paid and fully virtual opportunity.

Stuff You Can Thank Us For Later
- Degree Stuff: The University of Minnesota Rochester teamed with The Mayo Clinic and Google to unveil a new life sciences degree program that combines virtual and in-person classes. The Next Gen Med program allows university students to complete studies in just over 2 years instead of 4.
- Apps-for-Adulting Stuff: Since it’s rude to take someone’s phone and look at what apps they have, here’s a list of 16 apps that people who identify as “tech experts” recommend.
- Remember-When Stuff: What are the projects that you’ll remember once you graduate? If you’re a student at Montana State University’s Space Science and Engineering Lab, it might just be launching this atmosphere-measuring satellite into space.
