For most of us, training like an Olympian is more fantasy than reality. From scientifically-designed workout gear to state-of-the-art training equipment, the workout routines of world-class athletes are outside the reach of us mere mortals.

There’s one notable exception, however – Physiclo. The fitness startup offers compression tights that use resistance technology to help you train harder and radically improve your workout.

And they’ve got an Olympic pedigree – the company’s cofounder Keeth Smart won a silver medal in fencing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

In the months running up to this year’s summer games, Physiclo outfitted 20 Olympians and Olympic hopefuls to help them train smarter. They also talked to those super-humans about their struggles and inspiration – you can share their journeys in Resistance Stories.

Recent interviewee Daryl Homer brought home a silver medal in men’s individual sabre last week – the first American to medal in the event since 1984. And Monika Aksamit won a bronze medal as part of the U.S. women’s sabre team on Saturday.
