September 24: Founders At Fail, 7pm

September 25: Partner Tip: #Startupfix at CultureFix (by Flavorpill), 7:30pm


Wakefield is partnering with Flavorpill for an evening of drinks, demos from three great startups: (FitocracyUpdater, and Burn Note) and an open mic for entrepreneurs. This‘ll be fun. Score tickets for $7 (includes 2 drinks) with Wakefield’s subscriber discount here (code = “wakefieldFIX”).

September 26: Digital DUMBO Throwback, 6:30pm


Back in 2010, Brooklyn’s DUMBO still felt like an emerging startup hub, and Digital DUMBO was a monthly meetup. Now that the hood is a full-fledged startup powerhouse, and the event is a massive get together, Digital DUMBO is getting nostalgic. This Wednesday they’re returning to their roots with Digital DUMBO Throwback, held at their former home, the legendary Galapagos Art Space ($5).

September 27: Digital Publishing Roundtable, 8:30am – 10am


PluggedIn Ventures hosts this monthly roundtable event – this one will tackle the tricky world of web content. Featured participants include the founders/CEOs of Visual Revenue, Taboola, and NewsCred. Tickets are $50,here.

September 28: Code for Change, 3pm-8pm


No, not change of the nickel and dime variety, but change as in making the world a better place. Non-profit and government agencies will be presenting challenges to devs and designers. With a grand prize of $10,000 it’s a challenge worth taking. Register for the event here.
