Lumosity is a brain training program with over 85 million users and 4.4 billion games played. In addition to improving Lumosity, we’re also creating new products that combine science, engineering and design to help people form better sleep habits, practice mindfulness, and more.

We’re looking for a talented mind to join our Creative Team to uplevel our UX design architecture.


  • An experience architect at heart, who is passionate about elevating the user experiences of millions of Lumosity members worldwide
  • A well-rounded creative problem solver who applies UX design to simplify complex design problems into intuitive and emotionally satisfying experiences
  •  Highly sensitized to the user experience with finely tuned design sensibilities
  • A macro and micro-thinker who can just as easily zoom out to look at the whole and zoom in to be detail-oriented
  • Frameworks-driven, with a spark of excitement to teach others how to apply them
  • Resourceful enough to recognize the architecture and assets they already have available, with the vision to see how, when, where to push them
  • A highly collaborative contributor who understands the power of cross-discipline partnership
  • Someone who cares about moving the needle on business metrics and creating designs that deliver results
  • A hunger to succeed and the savvy to know how to bring that out in the people around them


  • Go deep in designing, refining, and expanding our UX and information architecture within our mobile and web apps
  • Identify how individual features fit into that system and coach individuals on how to apply them to their work
  • Provide technical mentorship for the Creative Team by setting UX best practices while evangelizing evolution and innovation
  • Collaborate seamlessly with designers, artists, product managers, and engineers to create highly polished experiences
  • Work in an agile environment using data and analytics to inform user-centered design decisions and rapid iterative improvement


  • 10+ years of experience in designing UX architecture on mobile and desktop product experiences
  • An impressive portfolio of work that demonstrates a deep understanding of the core problems being solved, paired with elegant, innovative, and thoughtful solutions
  • A strong UX design foundation with an understanding of how to apply it into satisfying experiences
  • Experience building frameworks for rich multi-platform product experiences
  • Expert understanding of how to apply design to achieve business objectives
  • Proficient knowledge of Sketch, Zeplin, and the Adobe Creative Suite
