Supply Chain & Operations Direct Materials Manager

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in Direct Materials Procurement or COGs related cost takeout initiatives 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an external consulting firm or industry and operating at the Senior Manager equivalent 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management/team management experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree Required 

 

 Preferred Skills: 

  • You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

  • You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs, and demonstrating leadership

  • Able to include decisions in a cross-functional environment (e.g. Executive Leadership, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Suppliers) 

  • You’ve earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree 

  • You have a functional-level understanding of technology solutions 

  • You have experience leading COGs Cost takeout initiatives - utilizing various technical and commercial levers including complex sourcing, fact-based negotiation, should-cost modelling, tear-down, design to cost principles, specification rationalization 

  • You have experience in driving Digital disruption for the procurement function utilizing technologies like RPA, AI, Blockchain, amongst others 

  • You have exposure to Mergers & Acquisition - clean room-based synergy identification and PMI execution

  • You have exposure to Responsible Procurement - redefining, executing, and monitoring performance against environmental, social and corporate governance targets

 

Professional Skill Requirements: 

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment 

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment 

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent leadership and management skills

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $117,000-$170,0 and information on benefits offered is here.
