Federal - Scrum Master/Lean Agile Associate Manager

Qualifications - External

Here’s what you need: 

  • Expert Agile software delivery experience as Scrum Master OR Agile Coach
  • Expert understanding of Lean-Agile principles, practices and frameworks including: Scrum, Kanban, XP and SAFe 4.0 or similar
  • Advanced with Agile development for a custom or COTS application
  • Minimum one of the following certifications:
    • ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
    • ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC)
    • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    • Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM)
  • Experience managing/leading a team

Bonus points if: 

  • Experienced in client facing role for Agile delivery
  • Deep understanding of all software lifecycle development disciplines - Project Management, Requirements Management, Analysis & Design, Development, Quality Assurance (Testing), Implementation, Deployment, Configuration & Change Management
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and certification
  • Experience in teaching and/or mentoring multiple Agile teams within same Release cycle
  • Experience communicating and removing impediments within and across multiple teams
  • Extensive knowledge of technical software engineering practices (e.g. – BDD, TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, pair programming)
  • Experience supporting a Government/Federal customer

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
