Job Description:
We’re looking for an extraordinary Director of User Experience who can bring the passion, collaboration, professionalism, and enterprise design experience that will help propel Anomali to the next stage of our growth.  We seek someone with strong leadership qualities, a creative mindset, and prior experience managing a full-stack enterprise UX team.
As the Director of User Experience, you will perform an important leadership role as part of Anomali’s enterprise product management team.  You will lead a talented team of designers and researchers whose expertise and responsibilities span the entire product portfolio.  You will be responsible for the organization, workload management, recruitment, and professional growth of the UX team.  You will help create a collaborative, inclusive, and open work culture that is visibly aligned with the fast-paced, innovative direction of the company.  This role provides you and your team the opportunity to define the user experience for the next-gen threat detection, incident response, and intelligence management solutions used by leading cybersecurity teams worldwide. 
o         Lead Anomali’s UX team and ensure the design vision aligns with overall strategic vision, and design tasks are aligned with the product roadmap
o “Know the customer” including leading customer primary and secondary research to identify customer underserved needs and to validate product direction with a goal of creating offerings that delight users
o         Own the entire design process from research to conceptual design to final product delivery
o Manage team member workloads, resource allocation against projects, and coordination with the broader software delivery team
o Attract, develop, and retain talent and ensure professional development and satisfaction with the work environment
o Define and implement process and infrastructure improvements to empower the UX team to better deliver for our customers
o         Create workflows, personas and interaction flows/information architecture
o         Work with UI developers to implement design and validate features as they are built to ensure they adhere to original design and UX principles
o         Define and measure product usage metrics to track user engagement and satisfaction
o         Regularly collaborate with management to synchronize on strategy, operations, and process
o         Support a rapid iteration process as needed to ensure business objectives are met
o         Develop a deep understanding of cybersecurity domain and use cases to better support users and the business
o         Participate in on-site team events, customer visits, and tradeshows
Required Skills/Experience:
o         10+ years of experience with user-centered design, interaction design, human factors, or visual design in enterprise software environment
o         3+ years directly managing a full-stack UX design team
o Experience in multiple design disciplines such as UI, UX, prototyping, design systems, and research
o Experience communicating UX goals, vision, and strategy across the organization, including to executive leadership
o Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines and business functions to achieve goals
o         Experience managing a remote team in different locations around the world preferred
o         Prior experience working with product management, engineering, and QA to develop and validate designs
o         Experience with 3rd-party technologies for tracking user engagement/satisfaction
o         Prior work with cloud/SaaS platforms products
o         Prior work experience in enterprise cybersecurity software or services preferred
o        Must possess an inspiring portfolio illustrating past design projects that can be reviewed during the interview process
 o        Must possess excellent communication & presentation skills and the ability to get your point across clearly
o         Candidate must have a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and confidence to make things happen
 o Bachelor’s degree in design, human factors, or other relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
