Architect the RF front ends of high bandwidth, millimeter-wave satellite payloads
Design, simulate, implement, and measure passive/active RF sub-systems at microwave frequencies, including; SSPAs, LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, oscillators, antennas, etc.
Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team
Specify, procure, and integrate third party vendor hardware
Mentor junior engineers and develop/improve internal engineering practices
5+ years of experience in RF design (graduate school included)
Deep knowledge of RF systems, radio architectures, and basic RF concepts (transmission lines, digital communications, active circuits, etc)
Hands on experience with RF PCB design, layout, and simulation using industry standard software (Altium, ADS, HFSS, etc)
Passion for designing, building, and testing RF hardware for microwave frequencies in a fast-paced environment

MS or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, applied physics, or equivalent
Experience with RF payloads for communications satellites
Experience implementing SSPA-based phased arrays
Experience with designing high reliability electronics for harsh environments such as space or automotive
Experience with Software Defined Radios and associated skillset
