Bumble is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, proactive and entrepreneurial Field Marketing Junior Manager to build Bumble’s brand as the leading relationships and social networking app in Canada.

Bumble’s core values are rooted in kindness and equality by connecting people and bringing together like-minded communities. Our field marketing approach aims at extending our Bumble brand values to students and individuals around Canada - appointing selected individuals as Bumble ‘ambassadors’ to be part of the movement.

Bumble’s ambassadors will be managed, monitored and inspired by the Field Marketing Junior Manager to deliver marketing tasks, events and represent Bumble at their University or in their city in varying ways. This individual's role is to help spread the Bumble mantra far and wide through word-of-mouth marketing, using our ambassadors as advocates to extend this. This individual will also help spread this word-of-mouth and visibility through unique, creative guerrilla activations in Canada, leaning on their knowledge of what’s cool to deliver high-impact, visually stimulating moments around the city.

Based in Canada and reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Field Marketing Operations, this individual will be responsible for building and scaling Bumble’s field marketing activities in Canada through ambassador programs, events, and guerrilla marketing.

The main aspects of this role will involve:

  • Identifying & onboarding new Bumble ambassadors
  • Ongoing management & training for all ambassadors
  • Communicating and instructing ambassadors to execute marketing tasks in their local areas, on a monthly basis
  • Maintaining quality of brand campaigns, events, and outreach
  • Inspiring and motivating ambassadors on a weekly basis
  • Providing feedback on activations; managing & reporting on outputs
  • Driving growth in order to hit or exceed business KPIs across Canada

  • Researching key events/partnerships that are on brand and relevant for marketing activations
  • Ideation and delivery of guerrilla marketing initiatives
  • Executing events, including publicity and logistics, with the support of ambassadors
  • Post-activity follow up: gathering reports, collating photos, retargeting
  • Creative ideation around wider regional marketing activities.
  • Assisting with other events & partnerships across Canada as required.

  • Tracking spend against budget for field marketing activities
  • Liaising with International Marketing Team to order & distribute merchandise
  • Supporting the Canada marketing team with other tasks as required

About You:

  • Passionate about the Bumble brand vision and values
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, entrepreneurial, creative, collaborative
  • Self starter: thrives on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight, leveraging and learning from successes and challenges of other emerging Bumble markets
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Unafraid to hustle, hustle, hustle

Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • 2-4 years professional experience in field marketing (or a related background).
  • Strong background in events management and execution
  • Experience with brand ambassadors or people management
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian culture and higher education landscape, as well as wide networks of contacts
  • A strong track-record of making data-driven decisions to drive strategy and growth
  • Exceptional written and spoken English skills
Please apply by submitting your resume along with a cover letter explaining your potential impact on Bumble and why you’re the ideal candidate for this role! As growth is one of our core values, the ideal candidate will be able to strategically make data-driven decisions to drive Bumble's success and growth.
