  • Efficiently and creatively grow the Betterment customer base through digital advertising channels with a particular focus on programmatic display, paid social, and video
  • Build campaign and testing roadmaps against key business growth initiatives
  • Execute and optimize marketing campaigns in several channels, with an eye towards increasing efficiency of marketing spend through A/B testing
  • Manage significant media budgets, agencies, technology vendors, and media partnerships
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams on advertising campaigns and landing pages to bring our product to life
  • Perform ongoing and post-campaign analysis and use that analysis to form recommendations for new campaigns and strategies
  • Research and evaluate new channels, vendors, and partners for consideration, using relevant data to support recommendations


  • 5-7 years of work experience in a data-driven marketing role at a fast-paced workplace (brand or agency)
  • Deep familiarity with the digital media landscape (e.g. DSPs, DMPs, 3rd party data Providers) and with key AdTech tools and concepts (e.g. DoubleClick Campaign Manager, trafficking processes)
  • Robust understanding of quantitative concepts around driving performance (e.g. lookalike or response models) and measuring performance (e.g. last click vs. multi-touch attribution models, holdout controls, statistical significance)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Self-starter approach to work, with drive to consistently exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Passion for disrupting an industry and being part of the team directly responsible for building the customer base
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for analysis purposes, eager to develop/learn SQL skills
