Senior Associate, BirchboxMan Social & Content Marketing

The Senior Associate, Social & Content Marketing is a key member of the Birchbox Marketing Team. You will be responsible for utilizing our social channels through both paid media and organic tactics to drive acquisition & conversion. You will be developing and executing campaigns across BirchboxMan social media channels that build our brand, engage our audiences, drive traffic, and deliver business results. This role will report to the BirchboxMan Senior Marketing Manager and work collaboratively with our Women's Paid Performance and Social Teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Own and execute social campaigns to drive engagement, “word of mouth”, and traffic to site using both paid and non-paid tactics.
    • Manage social media calendar (Facebook / Facebook Live, Instagram / Instagram Stories, Twitter, Pinterest)  to support overall business objectives ensuring it’s in line with the BirchboxMan’s grooming POV
    • Develop campaigns to amplify existing acquisition and retention campaigns that can be used for paid and non-paid.
    • Concept and execute on ideas for how to engage community members at each stage of the customer journey.
    • Work with creative and marketing operations to ensure all assets are prepared ahead of time and are in line with the brand guidelines.
    • Write all social copy
    • Manage execution of all organic social media channels
    • Work with paid media agency ensuring they are briefed of all campaign and have necessary tools to execute strategies.
    • Stay in close contact with paid media agency working with them to iterate and optimize are paid social strategies.
    • Develop, track and report on relevant KPIs based on relevant industry standards
    • Monitor competitor and industry updates within the social landscape, and share with relevant team members.
    • Edit copy writers marketing promotional copy
  • Ensure we are delivering compelling content franchises covering brand, merch, box, and lifestyle POV
  • Build on the evolution of BirchboxMan’s social presence and how it is represented across all social channels.


  • 2-3 years experience with organic and paid social media management, at an agency or a brand
  • Passion for the role that social can play in overall marketing strategy
  • A passion for developing a social strategy and creating content targeted toward male consumers
  • An interest in grooming
  • Have excellent writing skills and a good visual eye
  • Have an analytical mindset and believe in the importance of tracking metrics
  • Understands the importance of building a lifestyle brand
  • Always on top of the latest social trends and platforms changes
  • A plus if comfortable on camera
