Bonobos is looking for a detail oriented Senior Finance Associate to help evolve our financial planning process by applying analytical rigor to constantly optimize the scalability of our business.  

Reporting to our Finance Manager, you will be part of the dynamic duo responsible for all budgeting and forecasting for our organization. You will play an integral part of driving and supporting financial planning through building dynamic, detailed, scalable financial models and, more importantly, garnering business insights from all the numbers.  

What you’ll do...

  • Support the planning, forecasting and long range planning process for organization while striving to maximize total company profitability including:
    • Company model including historicals, actualization and updates to forecast of all three financial statements in such a way that changes to assumptions can be easily flowed / analyzed
    • Supporting process development for ongoing managerial reporting, including variance analysis to budget/forecast and interpretation of key themes and actionable items
    • Demonstrate judgement and comfort with data ambiguity; filling in the holes and communicating assumptions appropriately
  • Develop and standardize financial planning and reporting architecture, ensuring cross-platform data integrity
  • Support the Finance team on group deliverables such as BoD presentations and CFO requests
  • Business analysis such as business cases, modeling operating changes, and new views on P&L analysis
  • Work on function-led process improvement activities and other special projects (such as creation of standardized budget templates, harmonization of business and financial processes, ongoing implementation of our planning tool: Host Analytics)


  • Have at 2-3 years prior banking and / or Corporate finance experience (retail experience a plus!)
  • Are an excel master, but also able to wield modeling wizardry within the constraints of a thriving business
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize financial analysis and business objectives into clear recommendations
  • Have a desire to develop financial understanding while continuously drawing connections between previous and current work
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, take initiative and work independently
  • Possess a high level of timeliness, accuracy, motivation and positive attitude in accomplishment of team objectives regardless of nature of task as well as flexibility in shifts in team assignments
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a constant desire to improve existing processes
