Overview:
We're looking for a high energy, hands-on individual to join the Box Revenue Operations team as anOrder Management Specialist reporting into our headquarters in Redwood City, California.
As a part of this position you will be the only Order Management representation across our EMEA region and will be required to manage internal operations across the order to cash process. This includes all transactions related to our Direct and Channel business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include invoicing and provisioning all incoming orders from the EMEA region as well as working cross-functionally to support the EMEA business in all capacities related to billing, collections, and revenue. A successful candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a fast moving environment as well as the desire to contribute to a hardworking global team.

Responsibilities:
  • Review global sales orders for completeness and accuracy and ensure all transactions are validated according to internal operational guidelines and policies.
  • Conduct timely and accurate provisioning and invoicing of all sales orders.
  • Work closely with Sales, Legal&Finance to resolve any issues that arise related to billing, collections, and data discrepancies across our systems.
  • Provide guidance on complex deal structures and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to review and ensure no adverse financial or legal implications associated with orders and agreements.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in the quote to cash process and contribute to scaling our business processes.
  • Support accounting month-end close activities as needed. Specifically, ensure quality of order and billing data prior to revenue recognition procedures begin.
  • Provide visibility on EMEA OM Operations to headquarters and promote alignment between our Japan, EMEA, RWC, and Austin offices.
 
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS from a top college or university (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting –a plus).
  • Extensive experience in Finance, Operations, Order Management (quote to cash an advantage).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zuora, Icertis, CPQ Systems, and Netsuite – a plus.
  • Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and ability to deal with conflict resolution.Self-starter capable of operating with little hands-on direction in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player–can effectively lead a project or participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations.
