Your Role: Junior Software Support Engineer

You are looking to work with emerging technologies and new technical paradigms, where you are challenged and encouraged to think outside the box. You are an ambitious Software Engineer who will join our newly founded Platform Success team and be an interface for internal developers when they need help. You will find the right person who can provide the proper answers and you will learn on the job and continue to grow/develop your skills. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling the respective tickets for our development team’s internal ticket workflow. The best fit for this success driven team is a Junior Software Engineer who is willing to learn, comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and passionate to help others.

Your Credentials: You Are A Firestarter

At Braintribe, a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related subject is nice to have… but we care much more about your ability to thrive in the areas outlined below.

  • The Required Experience / Knowledge:
    • Java experience on a junior-level.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Willingness to learn.
    • Basic knowledge in ticket handling & source code versioning (ex: git).
    • Ability to understand abstract software paradigms.
    • Ability to manage workflow with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
  • The Nice-to-Have Experience / Knowledge:
    • Web technologies such as REST and the HTML5 stack.
    • Data modeling and Database management.
    • Software architecture, Inversion of Control, Separation of Concerns.
