Product Management @ Canva

The mission of Product Managers at Canva is to create the most accessible design tool for every person in the world. We believe that we can improve the world by empowering everyone to design and communicate visually. As a Product Manager at Canva you help set this vision, define what that future looks like, and build the products and features that get us there.

Product Managers collaborate with Canva’s founders to set the strategic direction, scope, and success metrics for product initiatives. We work across teams of designers, software engineers, marketers and analysts to ensure we're delivering an exceptional experience to all our users. We are responsible for implementing and collaborating on product strategy, road mapping, and prioritisation as our product grows.

It’s our responsibility to see products through their entire lifecycle—from concept through to validation, build, post-launch analytics and iterations.

The Canva Pro Group at Canva is on a mission to empower small and medium businesses with tools to create stunning content and grow their business.

Our Canva Pro product team has an exciting vision and roadmap to build products that empower users to create and distribute eye-catching content, to reach and build an audience. Ultimately we want to democratise small business marketing, and make it simple and fun.

Responsibilities

Create an exciting vision for empowering our Canva Pro users with the most powerful but simple marketing and audience-building products; such as Email & CRM
Lead a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, marketers and data analysts to deliver this roadmap
Become the product subject matter expert on marketing technology features at Canva
Help to craft and deliver the broader long term product vision for how Canva best solves the biggest problems for our highest value small & medium business customers

Goals in your first 3-6 months

Join the Pro product team and build up their context on our Marketing Suite vision and our current Email & CRM product strategy
Help to craft the final product strategy for V1 of our Email and CRM products
Take on the delivery responsibility for these and help to build and launch

Experience You'll Need

Spent at least 3 years crafting and shipping successful marketing products (ideally Email/CRM) that have been adopted and loved by thousands of users
Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy and take an idea from concept to execution. Experience taking products from 0 to 100 is essential.
Have experience building drag and drop editor products such as email or landing page / website builder products and understand the users needs & constraints
Very at home with data - diving in to analyse where things can be done better and where the next opportunity lies
Have been successful developing and delivering high impact roadmaps and in a fast-paced, high-growth product environment
