We are looking for a Software Architect that will join a small but incredibly strong team of Software Engineers that work across the stack in C++, Python, Typescript and Ruby. As a Software Architect, you will collaborate with other SWEs, PMs, functional leaders, and other teams in our multidisciplinary organization to define the software technology direction from technology selection and service design to software best practices and culture.
You will be a mentor for both junior and senior engineers and lead by example in both communication and code, contributing to any specific area of the stack as needed. You will drive key cross functional efforts to not only achieve technical success, but ultimately successful business outcomes.You will be joining a diverse team with a vibrant culture, where team success is as important as celebrating individual contributions.
15+ years of hands-on programming experience in C++ production code
Experience building, deploying and performance tuning system level software
Experience building and scaling distributed cloud service architectures
Ability to be independent, give input, and work in a culture that celebrates autonomy
Experience with embedded software is a bonus
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
