The Brand team at Carousell is responsible for driving scaled communications and building loyalty for Carousell through efficient and effective marketing across our 6 markets. 

You will be responsible for making Carousell a well-loved and differentiated brand in order to make secondhand, first choice. 

You will get to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as design, country marketing, PR/communications, product and external media and creative agencies. 

If you're looking to drive scale, solve problems with creative solutions and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty with going deep into culture, social platforms, experimentation and data, this is the adventure for you! This is a project-based job for 12 months, with a work from home arrangement.

 

You Will:

1 Campaign management and execution 

  • Manage creative, social, and/or influencer agency partners, fostering highly productive partnerships to deliver excellent quality across strategy, campaign conceptualization to final delivery of material, planning scope of work, conducting legal checks and managing budgets.
  • Partner local marketing teams to ensure work is regionally coherent, and locally loved 
  • Hold the best practice for integrated campaigns to drive excellence in key markets - mainly SG, TW, HK. 

2 Brand strategy and management 

  • Contribute to the development of brand strategies and distill insights from qualitative (focus groups) and quantitative studies (brand tracker) to better position the brand 
  • Be an internal advocate for what the brand stands for - our personality, purpose, and tone of voice. Assist in ensuring that brand guidelines are adhered to and consistently applied 
  • Work closely with various in-house teams like local marketing, PR, performance marketing, product to bring the brand to life in all touchpoints 

3 Measurement 

  • Manage analytics and reporting for your campaigns, working closely with the brand tracking agency, media agency, data and internal channels to track impact on brand perception metrics and business impact. 
  • Take ownership of brand tracking when it comes to conceptualization of questionnaires, fielding, tracking and reporting to stakeholders on performance.

 

You Have:

  • 4-5 years of job experience in consumer or brand marketing
  • Previous experience working in a global or regional team is a must 
  • An integrated marketing mindset, passion for creative excellence in storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written, with solid experience in brand and creative strategy, off- and online media, including social, measurement & analytics, project / campaign and agency management
  • Have a strong pulse of cultural conversations and understand of trends 
  • You are able to simplify the most complex information, and distill it into a simple human truth
  • Communicating across national boundaries a must
  • Excellent written and oral communication, a keen visual sense and attention to detail and a quick wit.
  • Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills with an ability to articulate a vision, strategy or idea clearly and concisely
  • An ability to influence others and display cross functional leadership
  • Driven and ambitious, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and business acumen
  • Strong and analytical thinker, problem solver
  • Can work well in a matrixed team setting
