The Opportunity

The Client Success Consultant (CSC) works closely with the Account Executive (AE) and Account Manager (AM) to ensure a positive, value-driven experience for ClearSlide customers.

For new customers, CSC responsibilities begin with preparations for implementation. The CSC translates client business objectives into a concrete plan for both user onboarding and executive business milestones. A solid business acumen is critical to this process, as the CSC must distinguish between client business objectives and the ClearSlide product capabilities that enable them to achieve these goals. The CSC will work with a variety of customer stakeholders, both business and technical, and leverage internal resources to ensure that the ClearSlide environment is ready for an implementation.

Once the preparation is complete, the CSC guides the process of ensuring that users are properly enabled and that their organization’s content is available and organized. The CSC will work closely with the customer to integrate ClearSlide into ongoing user training and leverage ClearSlide resources for group training classes. At the end of the implementation, the CSC will gather feedback from the customer and confirm that all adoption goals and success metrics have been met, before gracefully transitioning the customer to their assigned AM. Customers may interact with a CSC at other times in the customer lifecycle, primarily for adoption programs, re-implementations or new feature implementations. The CSC engages regularly with other ClearSlide departments – including engineering, product, support, finance, marketing and sales – to help interpret client data and dashboards to flag opportunities and risks. The CSC works across internal teams – and directly with executives at key accounts – to ensure ClearSlide has strong adoption across the entire book of business and delivers ongoing value.

Your Day-To-Day

  • Assist with closing new business, and manage and execute the full lifecycle of customer success projects, including implementations
  • Partner with key client stakeholders during implementation, including sales operations and enablement, CRM admins, business leaders, and marketing and content teams
  • Execute against – and help refine – the repeatable ClearSlide implementation framework
  • Coordinate required training sessions to drive customer usage and adoption, and oversee adoption activities of training team. As needed, lead initial executive training sessions
  • Leverage and direct internal ClearSlide resources including sales engineers, client services engineers, product, and marketing to address any questions, issues and feedback from customers that arise during success projects
  • Ensure a smooth transition to Account Managers at the completion of projects
  • As needed, help educate client base on new and upcoming ClearSlide products to ensure their awareness and ongoing business value of the platform
  • Assist with account renewal and growth efforts as a trusted advisor through maintenance of ongoing strategic executive relationships
  • As part of assigned projects, foster advocacy among client base to drive new references and referrals for ClearSlide

What You Bring to the Table

  • 2-4 years of experience in Account Management, Professional Services, Project Management, or SaaS Customer Success roles
  • Track record of success on-boarding and growing customers
  • Strong executive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and results oriented – with ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
  • Working knowledge of ​Salesforce​, Gainsight, and BI tools a plus
  • Unwavering passion, commitment, and persistence to the business, customers and technology
  • Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) or higher require
