About the Department
Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success - all working together help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences.
The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
About The Role
We are looking for amazing people to join our rapidly growing Asia Pacific sales team. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne you will drive sales for Cloudflare services within a defined territory across Australia & New Zealand.
The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement with junior through senior levels within network operations, development, security and technical infrastructure teams.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - Australia/NZ, you will need to be highly motivated, energetic with a can-do attitude to exceed business targets and execute strategies to grow market share.
Drive sales in a defined territory and/or account list to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
Manage contract negotiations.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
< 50% travel.
Bachelors degree required.
Experience dealing with the assigned territory.
Direct experience selling network security or CDN services.
5+ years direct experience selling to enterprise accounts acting as lead seller and relationship owner.
Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
Basic understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”.
Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills.
