About the Department

The Cloudflare One team works across Cloudflare’s Sales, Product Management and Marketing organizations as an overlay function supporting the Cloudflare One products. Our primary goal is to deliver revenue growth by closely working with sales to drive customer evaluation cycles, actionable insights to marketing to support top of funnel activities, and market feedback to product management to guide the roadmap. Cloudflare’s success is predicated on continued growth and evolution, and this team is on the tip of the spear. 

What you'll do

Cloudflare is an established leader in the security space with thousands of enterprise customers. As a "Cloudflare One" Account Executive, you will have the exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth for the Cloudflare SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solution, Cloudflare One, within an assigned geographic region and supporting a specific sales team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter sales specialist, the “go-to” resource for the field sales organisation and customer interactions. You will be focusing on developing, selling and closing revenue opportunities around Cloudflare’s emerging technologies for both large and small customers. This is a quota carrying position and will act as an Overlay/Sales Specialist to a broad region

Responsibilities

  • Present to customers as the Cloudflare One platform expert.
  • Discover specific customer pains and use cases that map to the Cloudflare One solution.
  • Partner with TPS to deliver solution design of Cloudflare One per prospect or client.
  • Support and recommend appropriate pricing including understanding competitive landscape and ROI justification.
  • Build a compelling business case at all levels in the customer decision hierarchy.
  • Act as an embedded member of the supported team of sellers and Business Development Representatives  including attending weekly team meetings.
  • Develop a sales plan aligned to the supported regional sales team’s targets and pipeline focusing on the Cloudflare One platform. 
  • Foster growth and track the Cloudflare One sales pipeline by engaging with internal account teams, existing customers, net new prospects and key partners.
  • Be a thought leader, trusted advisor, and spokesperson for Cloudflare One and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Direct B2B technology sales, business development or sales related experience 
  • Experience in cyber security, identity and access management, and/or networking technology preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to grasp new technologies from a technical and commercial perspective and communicate clearly about them. 
  • Anticipates needs, innovates, multi-tasks and excels in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
