We're looking for Actuaries who are interested in taking the actuarial discipline into the new era.

We’re looking for a Manager, Provider Analytics who is interested in enhancing Clover’s ability to improve the performance of Clover providers through data-driven reporting and analysis. In this role, you will interact with the Actuarial department as well as other various departments (Clinical, Operations, Network); other departments will rely on you as the source of information to make key business decisions.

As a Manager, Provider Analytics you will:

  • Ingest and analyze standard CMS’s beneficiary and claims reports.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of an internal business intelligence tool aimed to analyze financial, operational, and clinical performance of the Clover’s Direct Contracting Entity (DCE). 
  • Produce and maintain monthly reporting packages for key provider partners within Clover’s DCE population as well as large provider groups within Clover’s Medicare Advantage population. Reporting should identify actionable insights aimed to improve the cost and quality of care.
  • Successfully negotiate competing interests from stakeholders across the organization, collaboratively working with Vice President and C-Suite level individuals.

You should get in touch if:

  • You have 5+ years of financial analyst experience in a health care setting, preferably with an accountable care organization, large provider group, or payor.
  • You have basic programming skills, such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
  • You have advanced Excel skills and have a working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint) and the Google suite of products.
  • Preferably you have experience and deep understanding of value-based arrangements and population health strategies & metrics.
  • Preferably you have experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Preferably you are or are working to become an Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
