The Role

Primary responsibility for managing the sales and marketing function for the company’s EMEA+ region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South-East Asia). This includes proper budgeting, forecasting and meeting of sales targets as agreed with management. 

What You'll Do

  • Put in place a strategy and lead a team to define and fulfill key sales KPIs (quota, budget, mix of business, etc.)
  • Responsible for managing the pipeline to ensure attainment of performance targets
  • Review and engage in key deals and accounts
  • Conduct monthly forecast reviews with team members and report to EMEA senior management and accounting
  • Responsible for definition of pricing models, levels and discount authorities
  • Assure customer’s desired “Business Outcomes” are clearly communicated to implementation teams
  • Work collaboratively with General Managers and Operations Managers within EMEA+ to assure customers have an A+ experience with Command Alkon products and service
  • Escalate meaningful customer, market and product issues as appropriate
  • Ensures inside sales and marketing functions are properly delivered in the EMEA+ region

  • Oversee, recruit, develop, and manage Area and Regional sales representatives
  • Provide coaching around Challenger sales process and pipeline development
  • Develop and execute a formal coaching plan customized for each sales team member to ensure necessary competencies and behaviors. 
  • Develop sales compensation structure, ensuring consistency and fairness throughout. Recommend improvements to the existing compensation structure to better motivate and reward sales staff for the desired performance.
  • With Sales leadership team, develop appropriate training programs and implement best practices
  • Manage and motivate the team to meet goals
  • Marketing functions
  • Jointly plan and drive marketing activities with field and marketing leaders
  • Properly define strategy for participation in trade shows and industry events for the region. Includes project budgeting, cost control and execution
  • Provide timely and relevant feedback on the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns
  • Operations support functions
  • Support General Managers and Operations manager in:
  • Estimation of backlog
  • Customer escalations
  •  

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience with management of a sales team
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
