Our Inside Sales team is experiencing rapid growth due to high demand for our on-prem and cloud-based solutions. We're looking for the best-of-the-best to be part of our amazing journey. As a member of the Confluent Sales Team, the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for selling Confluent solutions into small and medium-sized enterprises. We expect you to use your prospecting, sales, negotiation and leadership skills to effectively sell Confluent offerings into leading companies in order to meet and exceed your quarterly sales target. You must possess a "hunter/closer" mentality with a proven track record of success within a value-driven sales model.  

Ideal candidates will be based in Sydney.

Skills We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience growing pipeline and selling enterprise IT solutions
  • High-integrity, intelligence and self driven
  • Outstanding communication skills - written and oral
  • Outbound prospecting experience
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Demonstrates experience driving complete sales cycle
  • Consistent track record of success in consultative sales environments

Skills That Give You An Edge:

  • Relevant experience in selling IT infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Open Source, Big Data, Cloud, Systems Infrastructure, Enterprise Application Integration, Database and/or Data warehouse concepts and products preferred
  • Adept at using Salesforce.com to manage accounts, contacts, and opportunities throughout the sales process
  • Technically proficient and confident
