As part of our rapid growth, we’re looking for someone to lead our Inside Sales team. The Inside Sales Manager will lead, develop and grow Confluent’s APAC Inside Sales and SDR team. Successful candidates will drive a high performance, high accountability culture to meet and exceed business development goals. This role develops and owns Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Sales Development team while consistently monitoring, tracking results, and driving team execution to meet sales goals.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, manage and develop an APAC Inside Sales and Sales Development team with focus on achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual targets
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and coach SDRs, focused on attracting and retaining top talent that has ability to quickly grow and scale within the organization.
  • Set and ensure team meets quarterly KPI objectives and completes a high volume of daily calls/activities.
  • Report on team/individual results – quantity & quality of leads and pipeline creation to Sales Management.
  • Ensure the effective use of Salesforce.com and Outreach in day-to-day activities.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1’s, opportunity inspection reviews; mentoring and career development sessions for the team.
  • Help create and improve email templates and sequences.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to make recommendations on process improvements.
  • Set clear expectations and vision for the team
