The Confluent Growth and Marketing team is the engine building awareness and generating demand for the leading streaming platform based on Apache Kafka. About the Role:

We’re looking for a Paid Media Campaign Manager to build and own performance digital marketing campaigns across multiple paid channels. This hire will be a key member of our Digital Growth subteam, responsible for profitably driving high volumes of new leads for Confluent in a measurable way. Your main responsibilities will be building campaigns, buying, planning, executing, analyzing, optimizing, and reporting on any channels that you own. You are data-driven at your core, and use data and testing to make decisions. You ultimately own the performance of your paid channels, but will work cross-functionally with Marketing Operations, Data Science, Creative, Product Marketing, Web Optimization, as well as other Paid Media Managers to help you deliver great results - as a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist end-to-end paid media campaign operations including campaign builds, QA, optimization, and budget pacing across multiple channels including but not limited to SEM, Paid Social, Display, and Video
  • Manage the creative production process for paid social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Think creatively, and bring recommendations on campaign design, testing opportunities, and audience targeting for a global market
  • Prioritize and setup tests, as well as report on results and learnings
  • Manage and maintain data hygiene, and tracking
  • Manage performance reporting process and provide insights based on the data
  • Assist in billing and PO process
  • Help to maintain performance and operational documentation

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years experience focused on multi-channel paid media programs (agency and or B2B experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Paid Social, SEM, and Display campaigns as well as Google Analytics
  • Solid understanding of paid media metrics, tracking, KPIs, and optimization tactics
  • Experience with SQL, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, Optimizely, and Marketo are strong pluses
  • Has a roll up their sleeves and get it done mentality
  • Ability to multitask, and switch between one project to another easily
  • Innately analytical, comfortable in the numbers, and is able to support decisions with data
  • Solutions focused, with the ability to quickly spot issues and provide recommendations to resolve
