At Coursera, our Growth team is a cross-functional group of designers, software engineers, data scientists, and marketing managers with ambitious goals to rapidly grow the number of learners worldwide. As our Growth Product Manager, you drive strategies with rapid experimentation and data driven execution.

Your responsibilities:

  • Translate underlying trends in higher education into product needs today and for the next 5 years
  • Identify the highest leverage projects and work cross functionally to set our product roadmap
  • Develop great learner and instructor intuition through testing, dogfooding and observation to drive the products and experiences we build
  • Develop a deep understanding of the value of Coursera to students, instructors, and universities to inform the development and evaluation of potential business models
  • Manage the end-to-end process of conceptualizing products, acting as the glue between technical and non-technical teams
  • Develop a framework for evaluating new product features through testing
  • Understand the tradeoff in balancing the needs of students, instructors, and university partners, understand technical and financial tradeoffs when determining what to (or not to) build

Your skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant product management experience driving growth at a large-scale web consumer company with a proven ability to set and execute on a vision
  • Experience in hypothesis-driven A/B testing to drive product changes
  • Excellent internet consumer intuition
  • Structured and analytical thinkingTechnical background leading data driven product experiences
  • Solid design instincts
  • Strong bias to action
