Product Lifecycle Management Process Leader will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the integrated our global product lifecycle management process, system, workstreams, procedures, and training. The PLM global business process owner will lead a team of PLM sub-process owners and interface with the global functional heads and site leaders to assure the process/system is optimized to meet Cricut’s needs, efficiently driving the company’s innovation. The primary stakeholders include the following organizations: Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Safety & Regulatory Affairs.

Lead the PLM team to:

  • Assess Cricut’s current state and work collaboratively to drive excellence in PLM processes, systems, and performance
  • Build a World Class PLM team. Lead the global PLM steering committee. Influence across the matrix organization to ensure high level goals and objectives are being met.
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance longer term strategic thinking against more tactical execution of shorter-term deliverables.
  • Develop and coach key talent. Lead by example and display Cricut Leadership Values.
  • Create training programs to educate users to use and understand company PLM Processes and the Arena system
  • Increase usage and accuracy of the Arena system for the storage and management of product design documentation throughout the company
  • Manage integration of Arena data with partners, manufacturers, and in-house databases
  • Build a compelling 3-5 year roadmap of process/system improvements and chart a path to execute against that roadmap and vision.
  • Embrace and thrive in a fast paced, complex, often ambiguous environment where innovation is at the heart of all that Cricut does.
  • Be an agent of change by supporting, applying and advocating PLM processes and governance requirements.
  • Establish a strong foundation of standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Define communication and development plans for the adoption of best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance on approaches for novel technology, effectiveness, visualization of performance metrics, and analytical / functional testing.
  • Stay current with current industry trends and technologies to keep Cricut at the forefront of managing a product enterprise - develop and nurture external relationships ensuring Cricut’s approach reflects thought leadership from inside and outside the organization.
  • In conjunction with company stakeholders, develop and assure proper development and execution of PLM master plans, and performance metrics.
  • Lead, develop, engage and mentor the organization in support of PLM processes undergoing rapid growth and changing markets.
  • Serve as the company Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for PLM.
  • Lead all aspects of Organizational Change Management as the new system and processes are introduced into Cricut, including changing requirements, organizational changes, infrastructure changes to ensure a highly efficient and compliant outcome with broad stakeholder engagement, use and buy-in.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, information management or other related field required.
  • M.S degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 10+ year experience, or a BS with 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in hardware product development in disciplines such as hardware engineering, project management, manufacturing, or Product QA
  • Expertise serving a role in a rapidly growing company, centered around innovation, with a proven track record of leading Change Management during a time of rapid growth and transition.
