For this team, we are looking for a Marketing Designer to join in our Belgian office or remotely. In this role, you will play a key role in defining and designing standards for all marketing and brand assets. Think product campaigns, emails, ads, social media and much more. Much more, as you’ll not only be responsible for designing but also for thinking of new ideas and concepts, new ways of visualizing. Which means that we are looking for you if you don’t consider yourself a conceptual creative nor a graphic designer pur sang, but define yourself as a hybrid of those two.

The role

  • You offer conceptual input by working on creative ideas for visual imagery, campaign concepts as well as concrete executions. You brainstorm with the marketing team
  • You translate these ideas into distinctive design. You produce polished digital assets for all central marketing materials. You do this within the spirit of the brand guidelines to create visual communication consistency
  • You advocate for the brand and customer, in addition always seeking ways to improve, refine and innovate
  • You work in close collaboration with the brand and marketing team and other designers. You report to the Director of Marketing and interact closely with the Design Lead to ensure to ensure all creative output meets or exceeds standards
  • You create and contribute to a great design team culture

What we're looking for

  • Graphic design qualification at a degree level or equivalent
  • 1,5+ years of experience working on creative challenges in a start-up, design firm, digital business, and/or agency
  • Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually
  • Ability to create awesome illustrations
  • An up-to-date and thorough understanding of a wide variety of programs. Among others Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and animation software such as After Effect
  • Ideally, a background in or experience in motion design so you can bring static images alive to create emotion and engagement
  • Experience with working within brand and visual style guidelines
  • Experience with working on a product
  • Great eye and passion for customer-centric design
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to get things done
