About the Role 

As DataCamp’s Regional Sales Manager- India you will be building, expanding and coaching our team of account executives and business development teams. You will be accountable for top-line ARR growth, sales playbooks and workflows, and building a team with high talent density.

We are looking for someone who has strong integrity, a passion for the learning space, a reputation of building durable customer relationships, hiring and coaching high performing teams and a great drive to succeed. 

You are a data driven sales leader who is obsessed about growth. You have experience building relationships and presenting to C-Suite executives, key decision makers and have a history of closing deals and coaching others to do the same.

 

What does your life look like :

  • Lead from the front by winning large deals and by continually taking an active role to coach the team  to do the same
  • Drive efficiency in all areas of the sales process, including coaching and mentoring, reinforcing value selling methodology. Use CRM and BI tools to run a real-time business with a data driven approach, and coach your team to do the same. 
  • Drive new ARR generation from new targets and new teams across the full product portfolio 
  • Exceed quota and drive a culture of never missing the plan
  • Promote a platform point of view focused on solving strategic business problems for prospects and customers. Be focused on business outcomes.
  • Develop sales enablement and on-boarding programs for a growing team of sales reps in India (discovery, selling, negotiation and contracting playbooks)
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
  • Establish outbound prospecting motion within the sales team (25% of quota)

To Help Us accelerate, You'll Ideally Have :

    • Min 10+ years SaaS or technology sales experience with 8+ years’ experience selling into Enterprise-class accounts $1B in annual sales and bigger. 
    • Masters degree from a premier business school or BE is a must. 
    • A self starter mindset - this is 0 to 1 to 10 assignment. 
    • Hired and developed high performing sales teams
    • You have experience of scaling “land and expand” sales motion
    • Track record of success in quota achievement and closing Fortune 1000 deals
    • You have developed and implemented sales playbooks 
    • Strategic, persistent with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be part of a fast-growth scale up environment
    • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of your pipeline
    • You have brought innovative/market defining products to market
    • You are a data driven sales leader , who can sweat small advantages and scale up
