Who you are: 

You're a seasoned Program Manager with experience driving initiatives to support scaled company growth and operations. 

You love making sense of large amounts of data, developing models & conducting research to inform decision making, and creating presentations to convey strategic insights. You're highly analytical and detail oriented.

You take the initiative to own projects and deliver results with the goal to make the organization more successful. You're passionate about bringing your strategic, analytical, and data skills to a growing organization responsible for scaling Dataminr’s operations capacity. 

You will work with a cross-functional team across several departments to solve challenging problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and day-to-day management of Dataminr scaled operations programs, working with vendor partners. 
  • Support strategic and operational planning, bringing expertise and experience to scaling / rapid growth challenges 
  • Conduct analysis and deep-dives into aspects of Scaled Operations Programs and operational processes, in order to identify quality improvement and innovation opportunities
  • Own and coordinate all aspects of program training, including rollout of new initiatives
  • Facilitate program success through KPIs and strategic performance management
  • Work cross functionally to drive efficient and priority-driven operations
  • Carry out regular QA of program data feeds

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in project management or operations management
  • Passion for breaking information, current world events, technology, and a great understanding of both social media and publicly available data
  • Experience working in vendor or partner management
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize
  • Experience creating and leading executive-level presentations, including high level of proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Slides)
  • Experience in or a willingness to learn analytic languages (e.g., SQL, Python, BigQuery) and/or visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
  • Excellent cross-functional and relationship-building skills
