We are currently looking for 2020 summer interns to join our Mountain View office to develop advanced planning & control systems for DiDi’s autonomous driving fleet. The goal is to apply the state of the art AI algorithms on cars to make driving smarter and safer.
On the planning track, you will be advised by 1~2 FTEs in R&D of the state-of-the-art route/behavior/trajectory planning sub-modules.
Research and prototype state-of-the-art behavioral reasoning, decision making & motion planning algorithms for autonomous passenger vehicle.
Research and survey the current trends in robotics.
Develop control algorithms to provide guaranteed tracking performance.
Pursuing Master degree or higher in Computer Science or related disciplines.
Solid programming and high working proficiency in C++ and/or Python/Matlab/CarSim.
Good communication skill.
Pursuing Masters or PhD degree in area of Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field with a focus in robotics, planning, control, or optimization.
Previous experience in smart driving / intelligent vehicles is a plus.
