Director of Marketing, Partnerships and Dashers

We're looking for a Director of Marketing to help define, evolve and scale our work with our restaurant partners and community of 200k+ Dashers

In this role you’ll create and execute innovative, integrated marketing programs and campaigns to promote and celebrate our unique relationships with both local and national restaurant partners. These programs will accelerate acquisition, activation and loyalty across all DoorDash audiences. Additionally, you will lead all marketing efforts around Dashers, including community building, acquisition and retention. What you’ll do

  • Develop newsworthy, creative and compelling co-marketing plans in conjunction with large national partners such as Jack in the Box, The Cheesecake Factory and Wendy’s; you’ll also work with local hero restaurants such as Portillos in Chicago and Mission Chinese in San Francisco
  • Execute integrated co-marketing campaigns and programs from strategy and concept, through production and delivery
  • Create a comprehensive and innovative go-to-market process launching new partner merchants
  • Create and manage co-marketing content calendar for campaigns, events, announcements and more
  • Work closely with our Social team to ensure broader co-marketing efforts work in conjunctions with social activations
  • Work across functions and disciplines to infuse the brand’s voice into all co-marketing efforts and campaigns
  • Work closely with our local teams to implement co-marketing campaigns, run experiments, surface insights and develop strategy to grow their markets
  • Develop marketing campaigns to celebrate Dashers, their efforts and how DoorDash works to “deliver good” into their lives
  • Create a vibrant community of Dashers who are proud to contract with DoorDash, through a series of events, activations and communication points

About you

  • You lead through vision, and by example
  • You are an amazing marketer - you’re wildly creative and have worked to create innovative, newsworthy campaigns in previous roles
  • You aren’t afraid to get weird; your ideas are audacious, fun and make our partners say - “YES, we’d love to do that with you!”
  • You build trust with a wide range of audiences
  • You manage large and diverse budgets between brand and direct response co-marketing efforts
  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members within the company
  • You have a strong creative mind and attention detail
  • You have a sharp eye and will ensure all collateral created by our department is on-brand and uniquely DoorDash


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA a plus
  • At least 10 years as a Marketer spanning both brand and direct response
  • Experience in product marketing at a consumer brand or tech company
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Demonstrable success establishing and achieving business goals
