About the Team

DoorDash is building the world's most reliable on-demand, logistics engine for delivery. We are seeing hyper-growth and expanding our Engineering offices globally! We are looking for Founding Engineers to join our Australia Team and to work on building and maintaining a large scale 24x7 global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash's 3-sided marketplace of Consumers, Merchants and Dashers.

About the Role

We're looking for multiple product-focused iOS engineers who love building reliable, intuitive, and beautiful experiences on mobile. We aren't just developing an app; we're building a mobile ecosystem from the ground up that integrates the consumers, merchants, and drivers. This is a full-stack role where you'll not only build complex apps but will also make impactful decisions on the product.

• Work within our product teams to build exciting features
• Improve our code base through continuous refactoring
• Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronisation problems
• Extend and implement our APIs
• Implement unit tests
• Keep up-to-date with the industry standards of iOS development

• 8+ years of industry experience
• Expert at Swift, and iOS SDK
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods
• Systems and OOP knowledge
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps
