Role Description

As part of this team, you will be focused on crafting these critical sharing experiences. This team is uniquely positioned and empowered to make a huge impact on the value Dropbox can provide to all types of users. You will partner with a world-class team of Product Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Analysts, and Marketers to understand users’ needs and build capabilities that enable this core Dropbox functionality.


  • You define a compelling product vision and strategy for collaboration in Dropbox — specifically around feedback and approval workflows
  • You collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking progress of in-flight projects
  • You work closely with product marketing, product analytics, design research, customer success, and users to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications
  • You spend time outside the office with real users to understand how people are using Dropbox and how we can best tackle their problems


  • BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering or similar or experience as a Software Engineer, Designer or startup Founder preferred
  • 4+ years or more experience as a Product Manager, or similar role
  • Deep understanding of and empathy for users
  • Proven ability to work with engineering and design to build delightful products
  • A real passion for productivity tools and helping teams work better together
  • Experience with developing a vision and roadmap for an area of a product
