We’re looking for an experienced sales operations director with strong analytical and strategic chops to join our Sales Operations team to help develop and execute strategies that drive growth and improvements in the business. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Emma (Sales, Services, Marketing, Finance, Customer Operations) to will work on complex problems, gain insight into the strategic and operational issues that impact the growth strategy of the leadership team and establish relationships with people across the entire company. You'll have executive-level visibility and a finger on the pulse of the overall business.
What will the Director of Sales Operation and Analysis at Emma do?
Responsible for the effectiveness and continual optimization of the sales process, from lead conversion to renewal
Ownership of sales planning and reporting, quota and territory calculations and management, and CRM data integrity to ensure reporting and metrics are accurate and reliable for consumption
Provide sales metrics and reporting to the leadership team, ensuring sales reports are visible to the sales organization
Work closely with sales development and demand generation teams to optimize self-service and sales customer funnels
Provide analysis and findings for key business problems
Identify and prioritize the biggest points of leverage to drive the business forward, which will spawn new projects and opportunities
Own operations projects end-to-end that require you to scope & define your involvement, proposed impact, key stakeholders, dependencies, etc.
Communicate your findings and recommendations to all levels of management
Facilitate an organization of continuous process improvement
What does a strong candidate look like?
5+ years of relevant experience: operating roles, consulting, finance, etc.
SaaS experience, preferably marketing automation or digital marketing
Strong analytical, management, team building and organization skills
Excellent financial skills to work on complex business issues in a structured manner
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple internal departments
Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment
Strong communicator who can structure & present complex topics on the page or in person
High-energy, positive teammate that thrives in a cross-functional role
