So we’re looking for experienced software engineer with a proven track record in the agency or client services world who’s capable of working with customers to complete projects and occasionally identify and document requirements for potential integrations. You would also assist on multiple projects from idea to execution at the same time while providing the highest level of transparency. Sound good? Here are the specifics.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for potential customers who require an integration with Emma to successfully market to their contacts.
  • Work with customers to understand their unique business challenges and initiatives.
  • Design and plan onboarding and implementation for complicated integrations (including estimates of time and resources).
  • Present a high-level overview of application architecture and integration capabilities.
  • Subject matter expert for the Emma API internally and externally.
  • Gather technical and business requirements and work with vendors and internal teams to implement and execute.
  • Share customer use-cases with Product.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with web development design languages, scripting tools and protocols such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, HTTP, CSS, XSLT, AJAX and JQuery
  • Familiarity with SOAP and REST APIsFamiliarity with client-side programming languages such as PHP, Ruby and Python
  • Familiarity with SaaS systems such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce or Web Analytics
  • BA/BS (Business, Computer Information Systems or similar degree preferred) or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
  • Strong ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts.
  • Ability to conceptualize and design sophisticated wireframes, workflows and diagrams
  • Experience in the digital marketing industry a plus
