EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Customer Marketing Manager to join our world-class Marketing organization. The Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for delighting customers with engaging communication throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring their satisfaction, while driving renewals, cross-sells and up-sells. The ideal candidate will possess creativity and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing regionally-tailored, strategic marketing initiatives to promote margin retention, renewals, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Setting a clear strategic plan to align sales, marketing and communications
  • Identifying core strategic imperatives to inform the design, development and execution of campaigns using various marketing mechanisms (webinars, emails, events, etc.) to achieve regional sales and account management goals
  • Acting as a knowledgeable and vocal EnerNOC champion for customer needs
  • Evangelizing new ideas and approaches within the broader organization, particularly to the executive suite and across the go-to-market teams
  • Developing insightful analyses into market trends and identifying opportunities for EnerNOC with existing customers
  • Spearheading Customer Communications Taskforce focused on ensuring consistency and quality across all customer-facing operational communications to drive customer satisfaction
  • Building strong relationships within the marketing organization, as well as across regional sales and operations teams
  • Developing customer and prospect knowledge through analyses of market, competitive, and industry developments
  • Tracking progress against goals, identifying issues, and recommending and executing on solutions for improvement
  • Performing other duties as required

 Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. Degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience in B2B marketing, or related field

  • Facility in using Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel to conduct analyses and track progress

  • Ability to establish credibility with customers, market influencers, management, and account managers
  • Ability to work well on a team in a rapidly growing business
  • A proactive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to understand and explain sophisticated concepts and technologies clearly and concisely
