The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring, retaining, and building a world-class brand that resonates with both event creators and event goers. We are data driven and biased towards action, and put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers.
The Senior Copywriter plays an essential role in creating authentic experiences for our creators. We are seeking an experienced copywriter with a passion for brand storytelling who can deliver focused and compelling copy that motivates our creators to take action. You will partner closely with members of the Marketing team, delivering high-quality work that drives business impact and earns the trust and loyalty of our creators over time. You will work to bring consistency of messaging and tone across multiple projects ranging from wide reaching product launches and campaigns to more intimate event programs and internal communications. A successful candidate will have a portfolio of work featuring known brands and be prepared to talk through their projects in detail. Reporting to the Creative Director, this full-time role is based in San Francisco, with the option of working remotely.
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop the creative strategy and go-to-market plans for global campaigns and high-visibility product launches
- Deliver copy and tone recommendations for growth initiatives, like marketing landing pages, performance ads, and demand generation campaigns.
- Develop script copy for internal and external brand videos
- Partner with the Product team to bridge tone of voice gaps between the product experience and marketing.
THE SKILL SET
- At least 5 years of experience in brand copywriting at an agency or known brand
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to confidently and clearly present work.
- Comfortable in ambiguity and working on tight timelines.
- A true self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
