The opportunity is big, competition is fierce, and we have miles to go before we sleep. This team is responsible for working with some of the most iconic events and venues in Australia and bringing them to Eventbrite. What makes Sales at Eventbrite so exciting? THE CHALLENGE

As the Commercial Director - APAC, you will own the overall success of the sales team in the APAC region. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring a strong pipeline of prospective clients and developing action plans where necessary. 

You will help develop and execute the commercial strategy as we continue to grow our presence in the APAC region. You will also be responsible for the retention and development of existing Eventbrite organisers creating and executing plans to drive further value from the Eventbrite portfolio of products and services.

You’ll be actively involved in the largest prospects of the team, guiding in the preparation of proposals, pitch presentations, and quotas.  You will be responsible for reporting on the success of your team, and you will act as the liaison between the commercial team and company leadership.

You will also manage the individual performance of the Account Executives to help grow their skill sets.  By coaching on procedure, technique, and pipeline management, you will ensure career progression and job satisfaction for your team of Britelings. Lastly,  you will provide Site leadership to the Melbourne office driving  the cultural values and engagement of our Australian Britelings.  

THE ROLE

As Commercial Director - APAC, you will lead a dynamic team of Inside Sales professionals and enterprise sellers with differing experience levels from Sales Development Representatives to Senior Business Development Managers. Reporting into the VP of Global Revenue, you will be responsible for all commercial activities and revenue targets for APAC and work closely with the Regional Marketing Manager, to build pipeline, develop strategy, create and execute on business success metrics, and consistently push your team to deliver for our event creators and beat targets.

THE SKILL SET

  • A strong technical sales background with 5+ years sales leadership experience
  • A proven track record of sales success within the SaaS, Technology, or Ticketing industry
  • Driven by a challenging, dynamic and people oriented culture with the ability to harness this potential within your team
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on communication, influence and empathy
  • Demonstrated experience working within a structured sales environment with experience managing and executing on metrics and quotas and diligence in sales reporting and CRM management
  • Ability to operate as part of a global commercial team and bring ideas to the table to drive performance and sales innovation
