Strategic Finance Associate

Everlane is looking for highly motivated individual to join our Finance & Strategy team where you will help develop a world-class finance infrastructure and provide analyses and execution on new initiatives. You will play a critical role in providing business insights to our executives to measure progress on company performance and influence strategic decision-making. You will also regularly be called upon to generate insight and execute projects against new areas of business opportunity.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, curious and thoughtful. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to multi-task, prioritize projects and roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You will report directly to the Finance & Strategy Lead.


  • Monitor and prepare regular reporting on business performance for executives
  • Maintain our consolidated financial model, long-term plan and cash flow forecasts
  • Build tools and dashboards to streamline business processes
  • Create ad-hoc and cross-functional analyses and execution for the CEO and CFO on strategic initiatives
  • Support business development initiatives including financing and cross border partnerships
  • Prepare materials for our board of directors and investors


  • 1-3 years of experience in analytical field such as investment banking, management consulting, corporate planning, or analytics
  • Top-notch analytical, financial modeling and problem solving skills
  • Extreme attention to detail - nothing slips through the cracks
  • Advanced competency in Excel
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn
  • Passion for retail, minimalist design and disrupting an age-old industry
