Digital Marketing Associate

Everlane is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to help us accelerate growth through performance marketing and brand media. The right candidate is equally left and right-brained, results-focused, passionate about digital advertising and innately attentive to detail.
 
This role will serve as both a channel owner and strategic planner — executing always-on acquisition campaigns as well as facilitating the development of brand campaigns pulsed around meaningful product launches. Lastly, the candidate will be responsible for development of a longer-term paid content marketing strategy.

This role is based out of our San Francisco office.

Your day-to-day: Customer Acquisition

  • Execute and maintain evergreen digital ad buys with a focus on Native, Display, Video and Podcast channels — goaled against new customer growth
  • Refine campaign performance by relentlessly optimizing elements such as ad format, imagery, audiences and bidding
  • Serve as main point of contact for applicable vendor and agency partners, owning recurring status calls and meetings
  • Regularly research new ad products and targeting capabilities in order to stay ahead of the curve, testing into alpha and beta opportunities when appropriate
  • Develop an improved strategy around content marketing at Everlane. This could include development of a blog and its associated content that elevate brand and product stories — to be used for paid distribution

Your day-to-day: Media Planning

  • Play central role in building brand digital media plans in support of initiatives surrounding key product launches and category campaigns
  • Collaborate with Brand team throughout kickoff, briefing, plan review, development of creative, reporting and process refinements
  • Partner closely with Creative team on asset requests and refreshes

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree required with coursework in marketing, math, statistics, and/or economics preferred
  • Minimum 3-4 years professional experience including at least 2 years personally managing performance marketing channels for an ecommerce brand(s)
  • Advanced working knowledge of platforms including Outbrain, AdWords/YouTube, and/or DSPs
  • Experience working with agencies a strong plus
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to communicate with various stakeholders across different functions and levels
  • Deep analytical mindset and affinity for extracting insights from large datasets 
  • Knowledge of digital advertising landscape and emerging trends
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: eagerness to take calculated risks with minimal direction
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
