As a key member of Evernote’s Partnerships organization, you will be responsible for sourcing and executing strategic partnerships across a variety of integration and distribution partner segments, including strategic SaaS integration partners, resellers, and carriers. As the ideal candidate, you will possess strong business credentials with extensive client-facing experience via business development in the technology industry and/or management consulting. You are comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where you successfully influence internal business partners, company leadership and senior-level partner prospects at a wide range of organizations.   • Develop and execute partnerships that materially impact the growth of Evernote, including the Evernote Business product
  • Build and cultivate lasting, meaningful relationships within strategic partners critical to Evernote’s B2B expansion, including SaaS product partners and global distribution partners
  • Understand and internalize the Evernote value proposition, solution set, product roadmap, and go-to-market motions and translate them into a partnership strategy
  • Collaborate with our global Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Finance teams to identify high-value opportunities, build partner enablement content and infrastructure, and ultimately develop novel market opportunities that drive net new bookings and user engagement
  • Prepare tailored presentation materials and conduct presentations/demos to accelerate partner and customer acquisition
  • Develop business cases to prioritize internal resource allocation
  • Provide feedback to our Product team concerning partners’ requests for product improvements
  • Use business applications such as Evernote, Salesforce.com and Tableau to maintain excellent records and report on key partner metrics

Skills & Experience:


  • At least 6-8 years in SaaS BD/partnerships or management consulting
  • Fluency building partnerships from the ground up that enable significant revenue generation and user acquisition: sourcing partner opportunities, performing initial outreach, prioritizing and developing relationships, navigating complex organizations, negotiating and closing contracts, and managing/optimizing ongoing relationships
  • Deal experience within large SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft, Google, Salesforce) and/or with large distribution partners and resellers is strongly preferred
  • Highly organized self-starter that runs toward opportunities
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, highly collaborative, global work environment
  • A track record of effectively prioritizing and leading multiple projects at a time to drive them to completion
  • Experience communicating persuasively to internal business partners, company leadership and partner executives
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Thirst for learning and capacity for continuous growth
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%)
  • Global experience strongly preferred
  • MBA from a top-tier university strongly preferred
