Associate Product Manager

The Associate Product Manager professional will play a hybrid role supporting various teams across Exiger Tech, to include: Pre-sales/ Implementation, Customer Support, Software Development, and Product Management. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Exiger and the business
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Exiger products and services to the market
  • Serve as the primary expert across all Exiger Tech products to aid client support in responding to inquiries on product functionality
  • Participate in client visits for various opportunities
  • Engage client subject matter experts to understand business problems/drivers underlying product enhancement requests
  • Design product enhancements that align with client needs
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to validate technical assumptions related to proposed product enhancements
  • Document key functional requirements and acceptance criteria for all client driven product development requests and review them with client subject matter experts 
  • Obtain product development effort estimates from the Development Team Lead
  • Work closely with the Director, Product Delivery, Product Managers, and the Development Team Lead to prioritize client implementation development work and establish product development timelines
  • Provide effort and timeline estimates for client driven product development requests to Client Implementation and Client Success Managers
  • Ensure that the documented requirements and acceptance criteria are fleshed out in sufficient detail to allow story development to begin
  • Validate that the implemented functionality meets the acceptance criteria and, ultimately, the client’s needs and expectations
  • Communicate development status with Client Implementation and Client Success Managers

  • Understanding of Internet and intranet applications and emerging web technologies

  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside of standard business hours, as needed
  • Availability to travel at least 15% of the time.

Professional Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Product/ Business Analyst role, providing support to both clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Jira, Zendesk a plus
