Exiger Diligence provides clients with a broad spectrum of due diligence solutions that give clients the information needed to confidently make informed, risk-based business decisions concerning their business partners, investments and counterparties. A critical component of this diligence spectrum is Exiger’s human source intelligence product, SmartSource, which fuses together Exiger’s proprietary technology, public record information and in-country human source reporting into a holistic picture in order to provide clients with a nuanced and contextualized view of the potential risks associated with a business decision.
 
Exiger Diligence is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the SmartSource product manager who will be responsible for establishing and implementing product standards, aligning the product with client needs and market expectations, serving as a trusted advisor for clients, and pursuing and supporting opportunities involving the product. The candidate will serve as a senior member of the Diligence global product team and will play a pivotal role in achieving the SmartSource product’s strategic objectives.
 
The ideal candidate has a passion for collaborative problem solving and an expert knowledge of source inquiry-driven due diligence products and services. The successful candidate must be an energetic, hands-on leader willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done and be able to establish and maintain strong client and internal relationships. This role requires a high degree of coordination with internal and external partners, and superior communication skills are essential to success in the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SmartSource product to drive and achieve business KPIs around quality, consistency, efficiency, scalability and profitability.
  • Establish, innovate, maintain and refine SmartSource product methods, standards, guidance and processes.
  • Manage and drive the expansion of the source network, in coordination with the Head of Compliance.
  • Track and evaluate source performance and quality across a variety of factors such as access, reliability, credibility, pricing, and timeliness.
  • Assist the Business Development team in scoping reports and winning projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during sales pitches.
  • Support client conversations, opportunities, proposals and pursuits in collaboration with the Business Development and Client Success teams.
  • Work with the Business Development and Client Success teams to obtain client perspectives and feedback about the product.
  • Coach and mentor research professionals in the SmartSource product to meet and exceed product standards.
  • Train research professionals in the SmartSource product, in coordination with the Training team.
  • Monitor and track product quality and provide timely feedback.
  • Champion product standards and vision with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Assess desired and current state product capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and gaps.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to evaluate and ensure the SmartSource product’s market competitiveness and achievement of business KPIs.

  • Extensive experience working on human source intelligence driven due diligence and maintaining a wide source network
  • Deep understanding of due diligence products, research and processes in the governance, risk, and compliance space

Professional Experience Required

  • 4+ years of reputational due diligence experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Preferred candidates have demonstrated client-facing experience in briefing findings and discussing source inquiries experience and capabilities
  • Preferred candidates have professional fluency in one or more languages in addition to English
