Small business owners have a passion for what they do and a drive to build a business around it. They also have limited amounts of time and money.
With that in mind, we conduct extensive research including trying out products, talking to business owners and interviewing industry experts. The topics we research include marketing, sales, finance, accounting and human resources. Our buyer's guides, “how to” explainers and product reviews fill in the gaps on what business owners need to know.

FSB co-founders David Waring and Marc Prosser started Fit Small Business in 2013.
While building their own business, they noticed a distinct absence of quality small business content online. Most articles were (and still are) being written by generalist writers churning out multiple articles a day. There was virtually no real expertise.
They launched Fit Small Business to fill that hole and hired experts with real-world business experience. The editorial team of more than 20 writers and editors now includes a certified public accountant, two lawyers, a Ph D., a former registered investment advisor and multiple former small business owners.
The editorial team is headed by Eric Noe, the former managing editor of ABC News Digital and SVP of Digital Content at Participant Media, who has 20 years experience in media and a over a decade leading digital content teams.
