 About the Team

Fitbit is looking for Software QA Engineer role to join our growing Web and Mobile Engineering team. As a Software QA Engineer, you will shape the he future of Web and Mobile software for Fitbit wearable and fitness platforms.

A day in the life of Software QA @Fitbit

  • Promote an overall culture of quality
  • Design and implement various test strategies for new and existing features
  • Prioritize and organize test cases for an optimized execution
  • Execute test cases and reports results
  • Use a variety of quality assurance techniques to find, isolate, troubleshoot and report great bugs
  • Monitor results of automated suites within our CI infrastructure
  • Collaborate with automation and tools engineers on developing efficient automation frameworks
  • Contribute on growing the automated coverage
  • Mentor junior engineers on testing best practices, patterns and processes
  • Work in an Agile test environment

What you’ll need:

  • To be passionate, proactive, curious to learn new technologies
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working in an agile development environment, preferably scrum
  • Quality Assurance: 3+ years in quality engineering, quality assurance or software testing
  • Tools: test case management systems (TestRail, HP ALM), defect tracking systems (JIRA)
  • OS: Linux/Android/iOS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

We appreciate and value experience on:

  • Consumer product validation
  • Android and/or iOS testing
  • Cloud testing
  • Java and Selenium skillset (Webdriver Selenium, Junit)
