Fitbit is looking for an Engineering Program Specialist to join our growing team. We're a passionate team dedicated to health & fitness products that help transform people's lives. What you'll do:
We are looking for a highly organized, passionate, and self-driven individual to drive the coordination of key hardware development activities within our Device Product Programs. You will be the bridge between Program Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, FW, Document Control, Purchasing and outside vendors.
You will support hardware development builds through ownership of the build configuration and allocation matrix; collaborate across internal teams and our contact manufacturing partners for the planning of hardware development builds, manage logistics of the hardware development build, including daily status calls, build status reporting and prototype device allocation and management.
You will also manage product qualification build scheduling with our Contract Manufacturers (CM), Driving the Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) including process deviations across the respective stakeholders, tracking the Bill of Materials (BOM) approval process, facilitating Purchase Request (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes.
- Coordinate and manage the planning and execution of device product program development builds with CM’s including reporting/status updating and prototype device allocation and management.
- Collaborate across respective program team members to gather needed information / test results to drive ECO/MCO process.
- Create PO/PR's, maintaining invoice tracking and Goods Receipts
- Manage schedule and logistics for material to support verification & development builds
- BA/BS or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in using MS Excel, MS Project, MS OneNote, and SharePoint.
- Proven results driving multiple, concurrent tasks from initiation to completion.
- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools, such as Arena or Agile, preferred
- Experience with structured BOMs preferred
- An ability to work with a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Highly motivated to learn and contribute.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
