Flexport has an immediate opening for a Finance L&D Lead to join our Finance Optimization team. Finance is central to Flexport’s success - creating transparency of company’s performance, financials, risks and internal controls, and building the people, process and product needed for the future of Flexport.
We're looking for a Finance L&D Manager with this mission. You will be the champion to implement and roll out training programs across all users at Flexport.
This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to drive change, scope business requirements and prioritize.
Successful candidates will have deep experience in the following three disciplines – Communication, Learning and Development and Training.
Report into the Head of Finance, Optimization and will work closely with the Global Enablement team. It is a newly created role which is set up to manage all finance learning and training portfolios, ensuring users across all Flexport businesses and functions have the knowledge and training needed to utilize finance systems.
- Frame and own the training calendar incorporating both Global and local training initiatives.
- Developing the training rollout plan for existing and new functionalities for finance systems, and build competencies among the trainees.
- Developing training materials to facilitate 360 learning for virtual training.
- Conduct quality training throughout ERP deployment and rollout as well as refresher training.
- Manage localization of global content through an already established process.
- Provide feedback to learners and to the Finance Information System Manager.
- Conduct post-training assessments to identify areas of improvement and transfer of knowledge.
- Maintain training databases with up to date content reflecting new product releases/enhancements and relevant examples to be used for demonstration during training.
- Identify and escalate feedback, if needed, to management on any risks and issues related to product adoption, technology and knowledge retention.
- Maintain and update all training materials in line with the latest software versions and training records.
You should have:
Typically requires a minimum of +10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or +10 years of practical experience; Candidate experience should cover learning, design training programs and schedules, 360 or virtual learning and be an expert in both, frontal presentation and written communication. Demonstrated experience in leading teams to accomplish unusually complex challenges is expected as this is an ongoing requirement for this position.
