Flow Kana is the first sustainable, sun-grown cannabis brand to represent two of California's most special micro-climates and their small farmer ecosystems. We give scale to premier artisan farmers in Mendocino County and Southern Humboldt by distributing branded products through wholesale and retail channels. Flow Kana has purchased an 80-acre, 85,000 square foot historic family winery in Mendocino which is now being converted into the largest-ever cannabis processing and distribution center in Northern California.

We're looking for an Inside Sales Representative, responsible for lead generation and lead qualification. This role has been specifically designed to help the sales team build and maintain an accurate pipeline of qualified leads. This Inside Sales Representative will play a vital role in converting these leads to sales by fostering a relationship with each contact and articulating the company's product offering in a succinct and compelling way. 

Responsibilities

  • Processes leads from website, marketing activities, inbound calls, field referrals, prospecting, and other sources
  • Identify appropriate contacts from each targeted company or service (ideally owner or buyer)
  • Drive sales appointments through the sales process
  • Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate customers on products to identify & create opportunities
  • Foster a relationship with each qualified sales lead to keep Flow Kana top of mind
  • Research prospective customers, identify key players and generate interest to expand our list of prospective leads
  • Make outbound calls to targeted prospects 
  • Follow-up routinely with contacts to maintain relationship and actively move lead through sales process
  • Maintain our sales pipeline using Base CRM, ensuring each lead is updated with relevant notes and comments 
  • Provide insights and feedback to our Regional Managers to help refine our preliminary sales process and tactics to improve conversion rates
  • Using specific tools in development to use to sell over the phone/online

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years inside sales experience (required)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Hustler attitude: you are determined to close sales and exceed your targets
  • Ability to strategically think and analyze needs of clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Passion and deep understanding of customer support (training will be provided)
  • Technological savvy
  • A continuous thirst for knowledge and the ability to learn independently
