Senior Manager, Talent - Content

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Talent - Content to lead content development, production and post-production for key talent partners within Fullscreen’s Creator division. 

To be successful in this role, you must be both creative and technical, have significant experience working with high-level talent and a track record of developing and producing digital video content for top a talent, studio, network, publisher or brand. 

The Sr. Manager, Talent - Content will be responsible for end-to-end creative for key talent in the office and on set. This person is expected to be extremely organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly creative and excels at working on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for a person who can develop successful unscripted formats and video ideas, pitch them to talent, write outlines and then produce and possibly direct the videos, coach clients who self-film and supervise post-production.  

This person will be joining a small, nimble team so having the ability to execute on all parts of the creative and production process is a must.  High-level creative writing skills, production management experience and relevant work experience guiding creative and production with internal and external resources are key.  

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of work experience with the last 3 as a director, producer, production executive or filmmaker at a top tier content company. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative formats and video ideas for talent partners
  • Produce, shoot and direct videos, coach clients on self-filming
  • Oversee production for multiple projects simultaneously ensuring that shoots are smooth and on budget
  • Recruit and hire freelance editors, producers, videographers and other crew
  • Supervise post-production, giving notes to editors and communicating with partner managers
  • Developing talent’s written voice for their YouTube copy and social posts
  • Creatively execute brand deals, sponsored content orders and other custom content needs
  • Provide training, guidance and best practices to internal and external partners.
  • Leverage knowledge of YouTube creators to recommend collaborations that align with talent partners
  • Light domestic and international travel is required

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of work experience
  •  3+ years as a director, producer, creative or production executive or filmmaker at a top tier content company.
  • Unscripted content experience is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills for pitches, outlines, scripts, decks and copyStrong attention to detail, organized, and good project and people management skills
  • Understanding of YouTube and Facebook analytics and ability to simplify information to present to partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and extremely tight deadlines in a high-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter and a strong problem solver
  • Ability to work well with different personalities and within a team setting
